The Huron City Commission passed second reading of the liquor sales expansion ordinance on a four to one vote with Robish maintaining his opposition as the lone no vote.. The change will become effective 20 days after the ordinance has been published in the city’s official newspaper. That means there will be no Sunday sales of hard liquor for the South Dakota State Fair and WISSOTA 100 car races but the change should be in effect for the start of the pheasant hunting season.
