The Clark County Sheriff has identified the driver killed in a two vehicle accident shortly before 7:30 am Tuesday morning as Brittany Monson, 29 of Clark, SD.
The crash happened on U.S. Highway 212 near 426th Avenue.
Monson was driving a Ford Explorer SUV. The other driver, Brook Stephens of Spink County was driving a Ford Pickup Truck. The two vehicles collided head-on.
Stephens was transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown with undisclosed injuries,
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office, South Dakota Highway Patrol, Clark Police Department, Clark Fire Department and Ambulance all responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
