A 17-year-old male from Clark has been arrested and charged with one count of attempted murder. The charge stems from the stabbing of a juvenile female in the early morning hours of April first at a residence in Clark. The boy is being held on 250-thousand dollars bond. Attempted murder is a Class Two felony that carries with it a 25-year maximum sentence and or a 50-thousand dollar fine. The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation is leading the investigation of the incident with help from the Clark County Sheriff, City of Clark Police, and Watertown Police. No additional information has been released by D-C-I. Call for emergency service in Clark were routed through the dispatch center in Huron during the incident. The City of Clark dispatches for themselves during normal business hours with after hours calls being handled through Huron. Authorities requested Huron take calls while local officials were involved with the investigation of the stabbing. The condition of the female victim is unknown.
