A Crocker man has died following a two vehicle accident in northeastern Clark County. Floyd Maas was traveling west on Highway 20 early Thursday evening. Ted and Kim Warkenthien of Clark were northbound on Highway 25. Maas failed to stop at the intersection of the two state highways. The Warkenthein vehicle struck Maas and both vehicles entered the ditch on the northwest side of the intersection. The 89-year-old Maas was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to a Watertown hospital where he died from injuries in the crash. Ted Warkenthein was driving the Volkswagen S-U-V that hit Maas’ Grand Marquis and received minor injuries. Kim Warkenthein suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries. Both were wearing seat belts. Emergency units from the South Dakota Highway Patrol, Clark and Day County Sheriff, and Bradley, Clark and Watertown Fire Departments responded to the scene
