After having the week off for the Labor Day holiday, the Huron City Commission meets in regular session tonight.
On the agenda:
A public hearing on street vacation petitions filed by Gary and Shirley Nelson and William and Renada Cahill. The two parties have petitioned the commission to vacate said
street right of way that runs north-south in the center of Block 3, Prairie Estates Addition.
A request by Fish and Wildlife Services for permission to use shotguns at the Beadle County Izaak Walton League property for their 17th annual youth waterfowl hunt on September 20.
A work session is scheduled for the 2020 Budget.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 5:30 pm.
