Since a late April blizzard cut the city-wide cleanup short residents are getting a second chance to dispose of unwanted items and garbage.
On May 4th from 8 am to 6 pm and 5th from 8 am to 5 pm, residents can present their current utility bill and receive access to the city rubble site.
Residents can dispose of household garbage, tires, metal, freon units, appliances, trees, wood, electronics, car batteries, and rubble (including mattresses, furniture, carpet, and construction material.
Hazardous materials such as liquid paints, stains and thinners, chemicals, lithium batteries, anti-freeze and compressed gases are not allowed.
Businesses are excluded from the citywide cleanup.
Also, the city will begin picking up green containers again next Monday.
