The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners have two bid items for consideration tonight. One is to accept bids for water treatment chemicals for 2012, the other is for purchasing a snow blower off the State of South Dakota bid. A public hearing will be held for the renewal and approval of 2012 liquor and wine licenses. A second, separate public hearing will be held on Jacky’s Restaurant’s request for a retail On-Off sale Malt Beverage and South Dakota wine license. A public hearing will accompany the second reading of an ordinance regulating hobby farms. A new ordinance will have it’s first reading tonight. It deals with dangerous animals and vicious dogs. Commissioners will consider an affidavit of disclosure for demolition debris containing asbestos that is buried at the Solid Waste Disposal site before meeting in executive session for litigation and a personnel matter. the Huron City Commission meets at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public
