Snow won’t keep the Huron City Commission from it’s appointed rounds tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider two rental and lease contracts with the cities of Watertown and Mitchell for use of the city’s WildCat Screener machine. The Commission will also consider a material purchase agreement with Advance Recycling Systems of Sioux Falls for recyclables. Also up for consideration by the Huron City Commission are a hiring recommendation for the Library, consideration of an employment and reference manual for Splash Central and approval of an additional election official. Updates regarding the Solid Waste Department are included on the City Commission agenda for tonight. There are no scheduled executive or work sessions for the Huron City Commission who meet tonight at 5:30 P-M at the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
