The Huron City Commission holds it’s regular weekly meeting tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will meet as the Board of Adjustments to hear two variance requests. Both are related to requests for fencing that does not meet code. When the City Commission reconvenes, Commissioners will consider a temporary beer garden license filed by the Huron Elks and will consider special assessments listed against properties on the Beadle County Land Sale. The Commission will consider accepting grants received for the Huron Community Campus and a request by Public Safety Director Gary Will to submit Homeland Security grants. The Commission will consider four human resource items before holding a work session discussion on corroded water service. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM at the Commission Room at the Municipal Building and the meeting is open to the pubic.
