City Commission Meets Tonight

The Huron City Commission meets tonight for it’s regular weekly meeting. Commissioners will consider a payment request for the Huron Aquatic Center project and a payment request/change order for a water main replacement, lift station project. Commissioners will also consider a payment request for the east water tower project. The Commission will also consider accepting a bid for water treatment chemicals for next year. Commissioners will consider a job description for full-time I-T Specialist and issue a Civil Service Call to fill that spot. The Commission will consider a resignation from the Planning Commission and a hiring recommendation for a part-time Library Clerk. The Huron City Commission will meet in executive session for negotiations and will hold a work session on the budget and a review of phone policies. The Huron City Commission will meet at 5:30 PM at the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public
