The Huron City Commission will meet at the Huron Municipal Building tonight. Commissioners will consider setting a bid date for 20 breathing devices for the Huron Fire Department, along with a change order and payment request for street milling and overlay project. A third bid item is a payment request for the North Water Tower. The Commission will also consider endorsement of the Huron Wellness Committee strategic plan. A 21-page document designed to provide a vision on how to make the community healthier. Commissioners will also consider a recycling recommendation from the Green Energy Task Force and notification regarding signs to identify the Campbell Park Historic District. The Commission will also consider five human resource items ranging from wage increases to a resignation, before meeting in executive session for litigation. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public.
