The Huron City Commission is meeting tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Another short agenda includes the Commission meeting as the Board of Adjustments for a varience request for the construction of a fence that is two feet higher than required by code. When the Commission reconvenes Commissioners will consider a request to update the Police Department radio repeater and antenna. Commissioners will consider using competitive sealed bids for contract towing services. The Commission will also consider the approval of gifts to the Huron Community Campus which would be used for scholarsihps and office furniture. There are two human resource items on the agenda and two announcements regarding a new meeting place for the Park and Rec Board and the announcement of the Thanksgiving week garbage collection schedule. The Commission will also be meeting in executive session for a personnel matter. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public.
