City Commission Meets Tonight

The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider awarding bids for a front rotary mower and for manhole restoration work. The Commission will also consider purchasing two Dodge Chargers off of the State Bid and a special event alcohol license for the Huron Regional Medical Center’s Go Red for your Heart event. Commissioners will also consider a resolution to authorize the refunding of sales tax bonds and will hold second reading of the supplemental appropriations ordinance. The Commission will also consider a hiring recommendation for the Solid Waste Department before meeting in executive session for a Personnel Matter. The Huron City Commission meets at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public.
