City Commission Meets Tonight

There is nothing scary on this Halloween in the Huron City Commission’s Agenda for tonight’s weekly meeting. Commissioners will consider approval of two change orders and hold a public hearing on the transfer of a liquor licence. Two items relating to the Central Park project are on the agenda, one is consideration of an addendum to the architect contract with Bonestroo for the Huron Aquatic Center. The second is consideration of Request for Proposals for bank loans on the Central Park project. The Commission will also consider a petition and application for incorporation of the Kotas Country Estates Road District in the Joint Jurisdictional Area and two agreements with the State of South Dakota. The Commission end their meeting in executive session for Union Negotiations. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public and costumes are optional.
