The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners have a number of payment requests and changer orders to consider this evening. Public Hearings will be held for a special event on-sale alcohol licence for the Huron Chamber and Visitor Bureau’s next Business After Hours and for an On-Off Sale Wine Licence filed by Wal-Mart. Commissioners will consider a request by the Izzac Walton League for allowing shotgun shooting practice at the old trap range for the upcoming Lady’s Hunt. The Commission will consider two plat filings, the approval of the FleetMatics Contract and two infrastructure agreements.Commissioners will also consider two part-time hiring requests related to skating at Bergman Arena. The Commission will meet in executive session for two items, then hold work sessions regarding the Waste to Energy Study and the licensing of golf carts. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public.
