The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider three payment requests for infrastructure projects. A public hearing will be held for a special event alcohol license request by the Huron Chamber and Visitor’s Bureau for their next Chamber Mixer. The Commission will also get a semi-annual update on the South Dakota State Fair. Commissioners will also consider two plats and a service agreement with Dakota Energy for the east water tower to be constructed behind Dakota Provisions. The Commission will also hold a public hearing on a request by Ellwein Brothers Incorporated to vacate a street right of way. Commissioners will also consider hiring a part time library clerk and appointments to the Planning Commission and Hearing Examiner. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public.
