The Huron City Commission is holding it’s regular weekly meeting tonight. Commissioners will consider awarding a bid for 2016 water and sewer materials and will hold a public hearing for the transfer of a retail on-off sale malt beverage license from Rogelio’s Italian Mexican Restaurant to Yessica’s Restaurant in downtown Huron. The Commission will consider a rental lease agreement with the City of Mitchell for use of the city’s Wild Cat Screen and will hold a discussion regarding the maintenance of 27th Street Northwest. Commissioners will also hold first reading of an ordinance change regarding sewer rental fees and charges. The Commission will gather in a work session to discuss alcoholic beverage licenses for full service restaurants. There are no scheduled executive session items however the Huron City Commission is set to recess to reconvene at seven PM as the Board of Equalization to hear property assessment appeals. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public.
