The Huron City Commission has a fairly light agenda to tackle this evening as it conducts it’s regular weekly meeting. The Commission will recess to meet as the Board of Adjustment to consider two items. The first is a double faced sign that would not meet normal code requirements. The second is a conditional use permit for a yoga studio in an area zoned B-1, Limited Business District. The Commission will consider approval of a brief, five time consent agenda and will consider awarding a bid for demolition and removal of the old Water Treatment Plant. Commissioners will also consider an intergovernmental agreement with the town of Virgil for attorney services with City Attorney Jeff Banks. The only departmental items on the agenda relate to announcements regarding city services for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. There are no scheduled work sessions, however the Huron City Commission will meet in executive session for two matters, one contractual, the other regarding litigation. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building at 5:30 P-M. The meeting is open to the public.
