The Huron City Commission has a busy agenda for the Board of Adjustment, however the Commission itself has a short list of tasks. The Commission will meet as the Board of Adjustment to consider two variances. The first is for a roofing project where the applicant wishes to use a fastening system not approved by city building code. The second is for the construction of an addition to a home, where the setback would not meet code requirements. When the City Commission reconvenes, Commissioners will consider a seven-item consent agenda, including bills, public alcohol consumption permits, raffles and minutes approval. The Commission will consider approval of a final payment request on a concrete replacement project, then move right to a work session to continue piecing together the 2016 City Budget in a work session. There are no scheduled executive session items. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM at the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
