The Huron City Commission is meeting tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. The very light agenda includes a four-item consent agenda and two bid items. One is a payment request for an asphalt crack sealing project and the second is to award a bid for a project to replace a pedestrian path in Memorial Park. A public hearing will be held for a special event On-Sale Malt Beverage License filed by Farmer’s Daughter Store for a wedding reception in late September in the Blackburn Hall of the Campus Center. Two semi-annual updates will take place tonight. One from the Greater Huron Development Corporation and another from the South Dakota State Fair. There are no scheduled work sessions, however the Huron City Commission will again meet in executive session for a contractual matter. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public.
