The Huron City Commission is holding it’s regular weekly meeting tonight. Commissioners will consider setting a bid date for a project to reinforce the shore line of the island at Ravine Lake. A payment request for sewer main lining is also on the agenda. The Commission will consider approval of a temporary beer garden request filed by the Huron Elks and the group will also consider a resolution that appoints Jim Borszich to the South Dakota Public Assurance Board. Semi-annual updates continue with Commissioners hearing from Splash Central this week. The Commission will also consider a recommendation from the Capital Asset Committee regarding a project to improve some of the fairways at the Broadland Creek Golf Course. There are no work session items listed on the agenda however, Commissioners are tentatively scheduled to meet in executive session for a contractual matter. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM at the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
