The Huron City Commission is holding it’s regular weekly meeting tonight. Commissioners will consider a payment request and change order on two city infrastructure projects. The Commission will hold public hearings on two alcoholic beverage license requests for Metropolis. One is an on-off sale malt beverage license. The other is a special event license for consecutive weekends in June. Commissioners will also consider three plats. The first reading of a re-zoning petition is on the agenda as is and update on an intergovernmental agreement for planning services with Beadle County. Commissioner Doug Kludt is expected to give an update on Commission Boards and Committees that he is the liaison for during a work session and there are no scheduled items for executive session. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 P-M in the Commission Chambers of the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
