The Huron City Commission met Monday night and approved February 6th as the bid date for bids on the second year of manhole restoration work and for a self-propelled Rotary Front Mower. Also approved were two change order/payment requests for infrastructure projects. Commissioners also approved the Mayor sign a grant application to the State Office of Historic Preservation from the Deadwood fund for restoration work on the Campbell park band shell. The first reading of a hobby farm ordinance was deferred to next week because City Planner Ralph Borkowski was absent from last night’s meeting.
