And while no official record of the shortest Huron City Commission meeting is on file, it was widely regarded that the previous shortest meeting was a six minute affair under the guidance of former Mayor Mary Pearson. In the spirit of full disclosure, since Performance Radio News began regular coverage of the Huron City Commission back in November of 2008, the shortest meeting ever recorded on the station’s audio equipment was five minutes, 41-seconds. Mondays meeting beat that mark by one minute, 17-seconds.
