The Huron City Commission is holding it’s regular weekly meeting tonight. Commissioners will consider authorizing the Capital Asset Committee to bid on fire equipment from a South Dakota municipality. The Commission will also consider approval of a bid for road oil for chip sealing from Beadle County bid and awarding a bid for a field conditioner. The Huron Senior Center will give it’s first of two semi-annual updates for 2015 and a public hearing will be held for the Huron Chamber’s latest request for a special event alcohol license for an upcoming Chamber Mixer. The second reading and public hearing will be held for rezoning petition ordinance. The meeting will close with reminders for the upcoming President’s Day holiday. There are no scheduled executive or work sessions for the Huron City Commission. They meet tonight at 5:30 P-M at the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
