City Commission Meeting Tonight

The Huron City Commission is meeting tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider a payment request for the north water tower and will consider purchasing two Ford Police vehicles off state bid. The Commission will consider a preliminary plat filed by Richard Shelton and renewal of the golf professional contract with Jim Bigelow for next year. Commissioners will hold first reading of an ordinance regarding health insurance and will consider a recommendation to approve a new job description for a position at the library. The Commission will consider two other human resource items and make announcements regarding the garbage collection for the upcoming Christmas holiday. There are no scheduled executive session items on the agenda, however a work session is planned to talk about snow removal. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public.
