The Huron City Commission is holding it’s regular weekly meeting tonight. Commissioners will consider awarding a bid for water treatment chemicals and will consider the purchase of a police vehicle from Iverson’s Chrysler. Also up for consideration are bids for the purchase of two pick up trucks from Billion Auto. The Commission will consider a special event on-sale wine license filed by Manolis Grocery for the Huron Event Center on February 27th and the renewal of the equipment lease with Greener Link for golf course maintenance equipment. The second reading of an ordinance regarding changes to the issuance of special event liquor licenses will be held. Announcements regarding changes for the President’s Day holiday will be made. Commissioner Mark Robish will continue a series updates from Commissioners regarding boards and committees that he covers. The Commission is scheduled to meet in executive session for a contractual matter. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM in the Commission Room of the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
