The Huron City Commission made relatively quick work of a lengthy agenda. Commissioners, meeting as the Board of Adjustments approved five variance requests, all of which were approved with recommendations or conditions. When back in session as the City Commission, Commissioners approved a payment request for the north water tower and removed a payment request for Central Park from the agenda. Crown Park and the North Boat Ramp areas are being added to the areas to be developed in the James River Master Plan. The Commission again got a good review on it’s money management with the presentation of the 2012 audited financial statements.
