The Huron City Commission meets tonight with a very light agenda of items to consider. Commissioners will consider a joint funding agreement with the U-S Department of the Interior’s Geological Survey for the operation and maintenance of a streamflow gaging station on the James River. A public hearing will be held on a resolution regarding a lease with the Huron Rural Community Firetruck Association for real estate property at the north and south Fire Stations And the Commission will consider a recommendation that would restrict funds received for the city’s Capital Contribution to the Central Park project. There are no scheduled executive or work sessions for the Huron City Commission who meet tonight at 5:30 PM at the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
