A special Huron City Commission meeting has been announced for tonight at 5:30 PM. The only scheduled item on the agenda outside of a normal roll call of Commissioners present and approving of the meeting agenda is an executive session for a personnel matter under South Dakota Codified Law 1-25-2 (1). Because a personnel item is an executive session item there is no way to know what the City is taking up in the closed door session. However any action taken by the Commission as a result of the executive session must be done in the open forum, where the public is allowed to attend.
