City Commission Approves Resignation Of Long Time Detective

The last two meeting combined have been held and finished in less than 10 minutes. Monday night’s meeting was a recycling announcement and approval of a six-item consent agenda. Items on the consent agenda are approved at one time unless a Commissioner or Mayor wants an item removed for further consideration.. The city will post Gogolin’s detective position internally for filling and will also look to hire a police officer, in the event a patrol officer is pulled from the street to replace Gogolin. Aylward also mentioned the return of department updates from each of the four City Commissioners…

The city also reminds residents about changes to the recycling collection schedule because of baler maintenance. Recycling is being collected this week as normal but will not be collected the week of January 18th to the 22nd.
