Commissioner Gary Harrington also supports expanding liquor sales to Sunday for such things as the State Fair, WISSOTA 100 car races and pheasant season. Aberdeen, Yankton, Pierre, Vermillion, Strugis and Brookings are among larger South Dakota cities where Sunday sales are permitted. The Commission approved first reading on a four-one vote with Robish voting against. Second reading of the ordinance is set for August 31st.
