The Huron City Commission approved a resolution that makes a the duties of School Resource Officer a full time position again. Last year Huron Police Officer Cory Borg held the S-R-O position on a part time basis. Prior to last year the S-R-O was a full time job. The City would be allowed to pull Borg from the School Resource Officer position if he was needed for normal police duty and the resolution allows the S-R-O to be replaced by an officer if the regular officer was unavailable.
