The city has approved water rates for city-owned facilities.
Finance director Paulynn Carey says the rate will take effect January 1, 2019.
Carey says there was discussion over the summer about establishing the rate.
Also last night, the commission approved a payment to Premier Contracting LLC in the amount of $676,071.68 for sludge drying bed improvements.
There will be no city commission meeting next two Monday night in observance of Christmas Eve. The next meeting will at noon on Dec. 31st.
