The city has approved a quitclaim deed to Greater Huron Development Corporation for lots 2A and 2B, in block 1 of the Southtown 2nd addition.
City Planner Barry Cranston says the transfer will allow construction of a twin home to be completed.
In the other business, the city approved:
A progress payment request by Olson Construction for water main replacement for $219,322.53
A request by Fish and Wildlife Services for permission to use shotguns at the Beadle County Izaak Walton League property for their 17th annual youth waterfowl hunt on September 20.
2nd Reading of an ordinance that eliminates cars and trailers as conditional uses in general industrial districts. Another section of code already covers those uses.
