The grant is a 100-percent grant meaning the cost of the vehicle itself will be covered by the grant. The city will be responsible for certain add-ons to the S-U-V. The current car used to transport Cody,the departments drug-sniffing Belgian Malinois, has racked up numerous repair bills and is not cost effective for the police department to keep running.
