Christmas Basket Total Rises to Over $26,000

Phone pledges totaling $26,010 have been received after three nights of the Salvation Army Christmas Basket program,

The final night of the program begins at 6:30pm tonight with the Wolsey-Wessington Band followed by the Holy Trinity Choir of Angels, the guitar group Voila, the Mt. Olivet Church Choir and the American Lutheran Church Choir.

The Christmas Basket runs tonight thru Thursday beginning at 6:30, and can be seen on Huron Cable channel six, and heard on KOKK 1210am.

The Salvation Army is taking applications for the Christmas food baskets and Angel Tree gifts through this Friday.

Applications must be made in person at the Salvation Army, 237 Illinois SW, from 1-3pm today or Friday.

You’re asked to bring social security cards and photo IDs for each family member, proof of residency, verification of income for the previous 60 days, the prior month’s expenses and food stamp amount, even if you have applied in the past.
