Chase says South Dakota approved for Hemp production in 2021

Following regulatory approval of the USDA last Friday of South Dakota’s Hemp program.  Producers will be able to grow Hemp next.  District 22 Representative Roger Chase talks about how the program got started.

The US Department of Agriculture announced last Friday that is had approved a Hemp program production plan for native american tribes and states bringing the total number to 69.  Chase talked about the time it took to get the approval.

And how will it effect producers.

State plans for Indiana, Michigan, New Mexico and South Dakota were approved last Friday.
