District 22 representative Roger Chase announced before the last election that he would be stepping aside from service when he is term limited from another seat in the house following the next session. Chase reflects on the decision.
Chase chaired the Summer study committee on county funding. The 2024 SD Legislature will look at the recommendations.
There are 4 republicans that have announced their intent to run for the district 22 house seats. Both will be open with Lynn Schneider also deciding to not seek re-election to the house seat.
