The 2023 SD Legislative session wrapped up its regular run earlier in March. One of the biggest discussions dealt with the possible tax reduction in one of three versions. District 22 representative Roger Chase said the final outcome came down to what everyone could live with.
Chase said varied discussion on taxes was a bit of a surprise for the session.
He talks about what was important factor in the tax debate.
Governor Noem hinted at a possible veto of the bill, saying whether she will sign the bill will be coming soon. Veto day for the legislative session comes up Monday March 27th.
