The 2023 South Dakota legislative session is well behind us. Two Summer study committees are set for this year, one being chaired by Representative Roger Chase. Chase chaired the Workforce Housing Summer study committee in 2021. That year several Summer study committees were conducted. Chase gives an update of the Workforce Housing program that passed the SD legislature this year.
Chase will chair the Summer study committee on county governments. That work will begin soon.
Chase said the Executive board took steps to not focus on too many important issues at one time.
