A nice start to the week will change abruptly by Thursday and Friday.
Kyle Weisser at the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says much colder air is expected.
Weisser says snow should develop from west to east behind the cold front.
Weisser says this looks to be more like an early March type of storm.
Weisser says wet snow and wind could be a problem for many trees that still have most of their leaves.
