President and CEO of the Huron Chamber and Vistors Bureau Laurie Shelton gave the Chamber’s semi-annual report to the City last night.
Shelton said the Chamber is looking for volunteers to assist with the National Jr. High Finals Rodeo which will be held in Huron June 24th-June 30th on the SD State Fairgrounds.
Volunteers will be needed in three areas, including registration.
Shelton says the chamber is also looking for people to staff the welcome booth.
Ticket takers are also needed.
Shelton says bids for the 2022-2023 and 2024-2025 events were unsuccessful.
Approximately 4,200 contestants and family members are expected to attend the rodeo.
