A classic car show and antique tractor show sponsored by Stan’s Inc. will take place on Saturday, Sept. 2, and Sunday, Sept. 3, during the State Fair. Both shows are free to enter and will include trophies to be awarded to first, second and third place winners in a people’s choice judging competition.
The classic car show on Saturday, Sept. 2, will start with the classic car parade at 10 a.m.
Following the parade, Sherwin Linton will host the show from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the AARP Centennial Stage.
The classic car show will also feature the SDSU Bummobile. The Bummobile is a 1912 Ford Model T which has led the Hobo Day Parade at SDSU’s homecoming celebration every year, with the exception of 1942, during which Hobo Day was cancelled due to World War II.
The Antique Tractor Show sponsored by Stan’s Inc. on Sunday, Sept. 3, will follow the same format as the car show with an antique tractor parade10 a.m.
Sherwin Linton will also host the antique tractor show from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the AARP Centennial Stage.
