Final preparations are being made for the inauguration of South Dakota Governor-elect Kristi Noem and other state officials on Saturday in Pierre.
Inauguration Committee co-chair Matt Judson says the main activities in the State Capitol Building Rotunda start late Saturday morning.
Judson says the committee works hard to give the public access to the newly elected officials.
If you plan to attend the Oath of Office Ceremonies, Judson recommends arriving at the Capitol early because of limited parking.
Inaugural activities also include the Capitol and Inaugural Balls, each including a Grand March. Tickets are required for admittance to both of those events and cost $25 per person.
