Over 300 students planning to attend South Dakota technical schools will be doing so for free this fall. The Build Dakota Scholarship Board has announced the recipients of the first round of scholarships, funded by T. Denny Sanford and The Future Fund program in South Dakota. Scholarship Program Manager, Deni Amundson says that the scholarship is open to anyone looking to fill a career in a high need occupation…
She says this year’s funds were dispersed evenly across the state’s four technical schools into the programs designated “high need”. She says there were probably more that went to students in the automotive curriculum, and there were even more programs added to the critical need list….
Amundson says that anyone interested in applying for next year’s Build Dakota Scholarships can find more information at build Dakota scholarships dot com.
