Governor Kristi Noem addressed the South Dakota legislature Tuesday in the 2020 budget address before the legislative session next month. She outlined many needs for the state to the legislature. One of those was the loss of the Beef Barn on the SD State Fairgrounds on October 31.
Noem talks about what the proposed beef complex will bring to the state of South Dakota.
The expense to pay for the new complex was outlined by Noem.
Preliminary plans call for the facility to be in use for the 2022 SD State Fair and legislators will include her ideas from the address in the 2022 budget that they have to pass by the end of March.
