Forty six housing infrastructure development grants were announced earlier this month by the South Dakota Housing Development Authority. The grants will go towards prep work for around 1000 housing lots to be developed state wide. One of the areas approved was for the Broadland Creek subdivision according to Ted Haeder with Greater Huron Development Corporation.
Haeder said work to prepare those lots should begin soon.
A construction project underway in the area is the Peaceful Pines Senior living facility, Haeder gives an update.
