Dr. Annette Bosworth of Sioux Falls has declared her candidacy for the Republican nomination for the United States Senate. She made the announcement on her family’s Aurora County farm. Bosworth says she wants to bring federal spending under control and has vowed not to hike taxes.
Bosworth says she opposes the Affordable Care Act.
Bosworth, not a fan of federal subsidies, says farmers and ranchers need to be supported and backs crop insurance as a safety net for them.
Bosworth joins former Governor Mike Rounds, and State Senator Larry Rhoden in the race for the Senate nomination.
