The executive director of the Greater Huron Development Corporation has a new endeavor. On Wednesday Governor Dennis Daugaard appointed Jim Borszich to the Workforce Development Council. Borszich has over 24 years in the banking industry, having owned his own business for more than 10 years. He’s also a former Huron City Commissioner. Daugaard reappointed Huron native and Council Chairman Warren Lotsberg to the Council. Also reappointed is Council member Cal Geis of Belle Fourche. There are 10 members on the Workforce Development Council. The group was formed in 1994 to plan and evaluate job training and education programs in South Dakota and to advise the Governor on workforce issues.
